Now that spring is around the corner I figured I’d start up another giveaway on my blog. I wasn’t sure what to go for at first, but I wanted to do a gift card instead of the regular prizes. That way you can decide what to get for yourself! And in the end I settled on Amazon.com since I get a bunch of my nail polishes, beauty products, and books from there. So I’m sure everyone will be able to find something new and fun for spring. I actually just ordered a bunch of nail polishes myself!
You know the little widget that most people use for their giveaway? The one that makes it really easy to enter the giveaway right here on my blog? Yeah. Well, that one doesn’t work on WordPress, sorry. But if you click on the link below you will get to it!
The widget will look something like this. Remember that you don’t have to do every entry; doing them all simply gives you a better chance of winning. But you can even participate by only leaving a comment.
I’ve been waiting excitedly for this giveaway package from Luchessa, and yesterday it was here!
The wrappings and card were so cute, and the polishes are adorable.
Here are a couple quick swatches of the polishes on naked nails. I used three layers of each.
I really like them all, but they are going to look a lot better on top of other polishes.
Isn’t it weird how little it takes to make or break someone’s day? Today I’d been in a terrible mood because my lower back was hurting like hell, and it didn’t help that the rain was pouring down outside, and that my 20 minute errand suddenly took over an hour. In other words, it was one of those days.
Then I get a message from Luchessa telling me that I’d won her giveaway and suddenly I was smiling again! The timing for this prize was really perfect too. It’s right before Valentine’s and I’ve completely fallen in love with glittery polishes lately. I can’t wait to try out these beauties.
Have you tried anything from Essence? I have to admit that I’d never heard of them before this.
Today it’s December 24th, which is when we Norwegians celebrate Christmas. So I thought it was an appropriate day to draw a winner to my giveaway – that way it really is like getting an extra Christmas present! Merry Christmas and stay tuned for new giveaways in 2013! The winner of a skull themed scarf and bracelet is Olivia! Congrats! Visit her blog at Nailsofmanycolors.
I’m postponing the drawing of my giveaway til the end of the week to give people a bit more time to sign up. I’m giving away a cute skull bracelet and scarf to a lucky reader as an extra Christmas present! It’ll only take a minute, so I hope you take the time to leave a comment for the drawing. Good luck!

I just got my 200th WordPress follower (Thank you so much, Organized Scenery) and I’m celebrating with another giveaway! People seemed to like my last one, so I want to give it another shot. I appreciate all of you who stop by regularly to read my posts and leave me a comment, so here’s to you!
Last time I gave away a nail polish set, but this time I’m going for something else. I found this adorable skull bracelet at the mall and decided that it was the theme for this giveaway. The skull trend might not be quite as popular any longer (though it’s definitely not dead), but I think I have just not started catching on, so you’ll have to bear with me.
Then I found this cute scarf and decided it was perfect. It’s soft and long enough to easily wrap around your neck twice. I kind of want to keep it for myself, hehe. But a random winner of the scarf and bracelet will be drawn a week from today (next Thursday night) using Random.org. Good luck!
All you have to do to participate is:
– Like my facebook page.
– Leave a comment on this post with your email and facebook name included.
– PS: The giveaway is open world-wide!
Hannah Ackroyd is the winner of two pink nail polishes from OPI! (I left a message on your blog so just send me an email with your address and I will get the nail polishes to you right away.)
I had 20 participants – thank you all for commenting! – and I used random.org to draw a winner. Stick around, though, even if you didn’t win this time. I’ve decided to have a similar giveaway when I reach 200 followers! Because everyone loves free stuff, right?
